Hutan Pantai map for FS 25: Full Immersion In East Asia
Well, friends, it looks like we’re in for something truly unique in the new Farming Simulator 25! We’re talking about a brand-new map recently revealed by the team at Giants Software—the Hutan Pantai map. Earlier, the developers introduced us to another map in the upcoming game, called RiverBend Spring. Now, it’s time to present the second of the three maps announced for FS25.
In this review, we’ll explore this map and see what new features it brings to the game and how it will surprise players. Let’s dive in!
To start, the most important aspect is that we’re getting a map inspired by East Asia for the first time. There’s been nothing like this in any of the previous maps in the series. Japanese-style architecture, rice fields, and exotic nature—all of this adds an incredible charm. Hutan Pantai features unique infrastructure in the style of Japanese cities. The developers didn’t overlook the details: massive neon signs, bright lights, and traditional Japanese temples can all be seen on the map.
One thing that stands out is the industrial cities, which look absolutely stunning, especially at night. It’s clear that a lot of work went into this map, with every little detail carefully crafted.
You’ll find a vast number of fields for growing crops, as well as incredibly beautiful green landscapes with buildings designed in a style typical of Japanese culture.
Aside from the stunning landscape and the large, densely populated city, the map offers many other objects and unique features. Let’s break them down.
It’s already clear that the map will include several unique elements:
Hutan Pantai is not just a map; it’s an entire region with diverse landscapes. In some areas, you’ll find a modern metropolis with bright neon lights and giant billboards, while in others, there are quiet villages with cozy streets lined with cherry blossoms. And all of this is on one map! We touched on this earlier, but it’s worth elaborating because nothing like this has been seen in Farming Simulator 25, even among modded maps.
The attention to detail is very impressive: buildings are designed in traditional Asian style, which immediately immerses you in the atmosphere.
The port area is great, where we’ll probably be exporting our harvests. And how about the temple locations? It looks incredibly atmospheric, as if you’re really in Japan.
