Step 2. Find and Copy the Downloaded File

After the mod is downloaded to your computer, you need to find it. Usually, all downloaded files are saved in the "Downloads" folder. Go to the folder where the downloaded mod archive is located (you can click "Show in folder" in the browser's Downloads).

Now you need to copy the file using the CTRL+C key combination or select the appropriate option in the menu (right-click on the file).

Important! The standard file extension for a mod in Farming Simulator 25 (and previous game series) is .zip. If the downloaded archive has a different extension, it needs to be unpacked and the contents copied as a folder or .zip file.

Installing FS 25 Mod on MAC OS

The process is not much different from the previous one, so we will not describe it again. Let's assume you have already downloaded and copied the mod. Now you just need to place the file in the "Mods" folder. The only difference is in the directories! On MAC OS it is slightly different.

If Farming Simulator 25 is installed from the Appstore, the path will be: ~/Library/Containers/com.focus-home.farmingsim2025/Data/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
